A Legacy of Love: Why I Started Creating My Own Skincare
My story isn’t just about skincare. It’s about family, loss, and healing—and the choices we make when life forces us to look deeper.
At the beginning of 2021, I lost my mother to cancer. She passed away young, just like her mother before her. Two generations of women taken too soon by the same insufferable disease. It shook me. It hurt. But most of all—it woke me up.
As I grieved, I also started thinking about my own children. About how much I wanted to be here for them—for a long time. While the world continues to search for a cure, I realized that I had to take some steps of my own—to live better, live cleaner, and stay as healthy as I can for as long as I can.

My First Step: My Baby’s Soap
Later that same year, I became pregnant. And that moment, that sweet new life growing inside me, pushed me to act. I decided that my “cleansing” journey would begin not with harsh detoxes or extreme diets—but with something much simpler: the soap I used on my baby.
I wasn’t comfortable putting commercial soaps on her delicate skin. They were loaded with chemicals I couldn’t even pronounce, much less trust. So I started making my own. A gentle, nourishing, chemical-free soap created with intention and love. That was the beginning.

From One Bar of Soap to a Whole Family Solution
As I saw how well that soap worked for my baby, I couldn’t stop there. My other children were struggling with eczema, acne, and hyperpigmentation—and I had already lived through the frustration of dealing with those same conditions myself.
So I got to work.
I researched. I tested. I mixed oils, butters, and herbs. And one by one, I started creating solutions—lotions, body oils, and skincare that was not only safe but also effective and luxurious. I wanted something that felt good, smelled good, and actually worked—without irritating my sensitive skin or causing long-term damage.

Creating With Purpose
This wasn’t a hobby. It was personal. It is personal.
Royal Oils didn’t begin with a business plan—it began with a purpose. A mother honoring the women who came before her, while protecting the ones she’s raising now. Every product I create is rooted in that intention: to offer families clean, natural, and beautiful skincare that supports wellness from the outside in.
Because it’s not just about looking good. It’s about feeling safe in your body. It’s about creating rituals of care. And it’s about rewriting the story for the next generation.

My Why
I started this journey for my baby. For my mother. For myself. And now, I create for you too—for every mother, daughter, sister, and child looking for gentle skincare that doesn't compromise.
We may not have all the answers for the big things yet. But we can start small, at home, with what we put on our skin. And sometimes, those small steps? They’re the most powerful.
